The jury is back and these bars are great. Not only do they look great by really beefing up the front end, they facilitate easier turning and a lighter front end feel. At slow speeds you'll really notice how much easier it is to turn without overextending your arms. Before, when I would do a full lock turn--say left--my right arm was fully extended. Even though in this picture it appears that your arms are further out, the higher riser must account for the difference. These bars will raise your arms up higher than the stock position. The angle of your wrist is more natural and straight as opposed to slightly angled with the stock bars. Some people have also commented on the chrome finish--I had no problem with mine. You'll also need a speedo bucket which you can also get at Honda Direct. It replaces the ols one and really cleans it up too. Running the wires in the handle bars gives it a clean custom look but it's not as simply as it sounds. Below are some tips which will save you an amazing amount of time. I'm 6'0 even with 34 shirt length. |
